Mason & Allie | Bayou DeSiard Country Club Wedding

Allie and Mason tied the knot Saturday October 30, 2021 at Bayou DeSiard Country Club in Monroe, Louisiana on the most perfect afternoon. The weather was not too hot, but not too cold and super sunny for the two to marry under the sparkling light. Their friends and family gathered around them as they promised forever to one another. I was so happy to witness this epic love story finally commence.

Allie and Mason hired me as their photographer back in 2019. With a Fall 2020 wedding date, our national pandemic emergency halted all of their plans and pushed their big day to May of 2021. With Liam’s due date one week before their new wedding date, I had to make a call that no photographer or bride ever wants to be a part of. ” Allie I can’t shoot your wedding…”. Allie quickly responded that she had felt like events happening in their lives were pointing to a third wedding date in the fall, and that my call was only convincing her more to move their wedding date AGAIN. Boy am I glad she did! I was thrilled to be a part of this day and I couldn’t imagine not being there to capture it for this couple. After two years of being their photographer, I hope that I am here for many more of their family adventures!

The wedding day started off with the Bride getting ready with her bridesmaids. Allie’s mom made these beautiful cups for all of the bridesmaids and gifted me a gorgeous sparkling pen. To know me, is to know my love for sparkly things. Allie dressed in the prettiest powder room and wore a custom made robe that was as beautiful as any wedding gown I’ve seen. Mason and the guys hung out at the 19th hole and took the most epic groomsmen photos on the golf course! After hanging out with the groomsmen, it was almost ceremony time so I captured some of the incredible details of Allie and Mason’s day. From the grooms cake table to the flowery arch, this wedding was AMAZING.

The two married with all of their closest friends and family there to witness. Afterwards we went to the golf course to ride around on golf-carts and capture the gorgeous couple photos that you will find below. Allie and Mason could be professional models, I rarely have to tell them a pose to get into, they just work the camera as I make magic happen behind the lens. I’m so excited for you guys to see the results.

The newly weds ended the night dancing at their reception and Exiting under the twinkling sparklers. A great ending to a perfect night. Mason and Allie, Thank you! I loved being a part of this wonderful season of your lives.
