The Corkern’s were married in a gorgeous ceremony on November 4, 2023 at the stunning Southern Stables Venue in West Monroe, Louisiana. The day started exactly as it finished, joyful and full of happy detail. When I arrived, the girls were getting their hair and make up touched up. I snuck the details away to capture some dreamy shots of the jewelry, flowers, and shoes. Of course, I couldn’t not sneak some behind the scenes of the girls getting ready.
The day was full of little moments strung together with smiles and laughter. From surprise gifts from Garrett’s family to first looks with the brides, every little memory was so special. I loved capturing the tears, the laughs, and the five-star smiles literally every single second of the day!
They chose to get married with the white with black accented barn as their gorgeous backdrop. Seats were filled with loving family and friends, and the sun was shining bright, and Brooke and Garrett were married by Garrett’s dad. What a special day it was!! Garrett surprised Brooke by singing to her. Everyone can see what draws the two together, the chemistry was REAL. I loved their exit, the whole bridal party celebrated the newly weds with fun and laughter!
At the reception, Brooke and Garrett celebrated their marriage surrounded by all of their loved ones, great food, and even better cake. I always get teary eyed at the father daughter dance, but as a boy mom the tears really fell watching Garrett and his mom share a dance together. It was the sweetest. Garrett’s brother serenaded us all by singing and playing a sweet song on the guitar for Brooke and Garrett! What a talented family!
As I said before, this day was full of little moments and surprises that made this day so sweet. Brooke and Garrett ended their perfect day with streamers on confetti tinsel. It was so fun.
