2023 Senior Highlights | West Monroe Senior Photographer

It has been quite the year in the Reeves home! We have been super busy watching our TWO year old grow like a weed and soaking up all of the sweet moments that he brings. With that I have not made the time to Blog all of my gorgeous seniors this year. I wanted to take the time this summer to catch up on blogging, and today’s will feature all 10 of the beautiful seniors that I had the pleasure of capturing this year!

People always ask what my favorite session is and while Brides are my favorite people because of the amount of time I get to spend with them to become friends, Seniors are my absolute favorite people to put infront of my lens. Seniors are so much fun and more often than not Senior portraits are just the first stop of the many milestones I get to capture for these girls. So many seniors I get to watch grow from high school babies to College graduates, and on to marriage and even having babies of their own. Being able to capture the BIG moments and be there for the LITTLE ones is a treasure I will never stop thanking God for.

Whether you know one of these beautiful people personally, you’re a senior looking for your perfect senior portrait photographer or location, or even a parent looking for their senior, I’m so glad you’re here. Welcome, I hope you find these images bright, joyful, and radiating each seniors personality in some of the absolute BEST Senior Portraits spots in North Louisiana !

First up is,

Bree: ULM Graduate

This is my second senior session with Bree! I love when I get to watch these girls grow and continue to be a part of their lives for all of their BIG moments. From high school graduation to now a college graduate I got to see and capture all of her success. She decided to take her photos on campus in two beautiful outfits and the famous cap and gown! My favorite part was spraying the bubbly in our celebratory shot!!

Ainsley: Beekman Charter Senior

Ainsley was a beautiful sole to capture. She graduated from Beekman Charter and chose to have her senior portraits done at Black Bayou in Monroe. I loved her comfy-chic outfit choices and I think that they spoke volumes to her personality. I love when a photo displays all of a persons characteristics and I feel like Ainsley’s gallery does just that! I believe she is going to do AMAZING things in the future and can’t wait to hear about it!

Skye: St. Amant High School Senior

Can I just say when Seniors travel HOURS to spend a few hours with me, I feel extremely honored. Skye came all the way from St. Amant to Downtown Monroe to capture her senior portraits. This girl, friends, was fierce and stunning her entire session. Skye was a natural in front of the lens and when I say EVERYTHING she did was gold, it was MAGIC! I loved her fun outfit choices and had an absolute BLAST hanging out with her and her mom!

Kaylee: West Monroe High School Senior

Kaylee chose to take her portraits in downtown Monroe. She had the CUTEST outfits. Looking for a sequin combo that will make your senior pictures pop? Look here. Kaylee was so pretty and sweet. Her kind heart and genuine smile radiates in each of her photos and I love reminiscing on these shots! I was sad that I didn’t do a whole Blog on just this session , but here are some of my faves-

Ashlyn: New Iberia Senior High School Senior

Ashlyn is another one of my traveling seniors coming all the way from New Iberia! What an honor it was to capture this season of life for her. She stole my heart from the beginning because she is planning on going into education. I love her heart for kiddos and could see how genuine of a person she was each and every moment of our session. What a gorgeous girl and some pretty incredible images!

Makayla: St. Joesph’s Academy Senior

Makayla’s session was so much fun because I got to travel to my absolute favorite picture spot in Louisiana – Rose Down Plantation is St. Francisville, LA. We also stopped at the Myrtles and a friend’s property! Makayla is so kind and was gorgeous at her session. I loved all of the outfits that she chose, and I am so excited that these beauties will have a permanent place on the blog! The light was so dreamy!!

Chloe: West Monroe High School Senior

Chloe and I go way back! She was a student/player my first year of teaching at Good Hope and I absolutely adored her. 5 years later I have watched her grow into this beautiful, smart, and kind young lady and I am so glad that she chose me to capture her senior portraits. She chose downtown West Monroe as her location, and I think the images were stunning. She brought her precious pup along for some pics to and I was so glad that she did!

Bonus: Chloe invited me to capture her and the other West Monroe Softball Seniors with their coaches! These girls are on to big things and I can’t wait to watch them!

Hope and Hannah: Louisiana Tech Masters Graduates

These two besties booked a session together. Honestly, I highly recommend doing senior pics with a bestie. It’s cost efficient because you’re splitting it, you are going to be so comfortable because you are with your best friend having a blast, and you get your own session while also getting pics with your ride or die! It can’t get much better than that. Hope and Hannah have stood next to each other their entire time at Louisiana Tech and were the sweetest humans to capture. My favorite part of our session was when they got to spray the bubbly ! Louisiana Tech’s Campus has definitely became a favorite in the springtime. Hands down one of the best picture spots in north Louisiana !

Anne Marie: ULM Graduate

Anne Marie is a returning Senior. I captured her high school graduation portraits a few years ago and I am honored that she came back for more! Anne Marie is one of the most incredible humans that you could meet. She radiates kindness and light and it shows in each of her pictures. I am so happy to share the gorgeous shots of her!
