There are some weddings that you simply feel in your heart forever—and Connor and Madelyn’s wedding day was one of those. From the very beginning at the Graham family home, it was clear that this day was about more than two people saying “I do”—it was about family, deep emotion, and love that radiated through every moment.
The day started with Madelyn getting ready surrounded by the most loving group of bridesmaids, all of whom gasped with joy and teary eyes during their first look at the stunning bride. But the emotional high didn’t stop there. One of the most tender and unexpected moments of the day was a private first look between the bride’s parents—an emotional exchange so raw and beautiful, it brought me to tears. It was a quiet, sacred pause in the excitement of the day that reminded everyone what this occasion was all about: love and family.
Speaking of family, Madelyn’s first look with her father was nothing short of heart-melting. His pride, awe, and unfiltered emotion filled the room—and made for some of the most beautiful, candid photos I’ve ever captured.
Before the ceremony, thanks to the ever-talented Hannah Lamb Events, the family was treated to a jaw-dropping venue first look at the reception site—The Rooftop at The Carthage Building. This venue is still technically under construction (the bride literally wore a hard hat just a week prior when she visited!), so seeing it completed in time—and looking absolutely breathtaking—was surreal. Powder blue accents, lush greenery, and stunning florals transformed the space into a dreamy skyline garden. It felt like stepping into a Pinterest board come to life, with the city view stretching endlessly behind them.
Madelyn was the very first bride to host her reception here, and the way everyone gasped upon entering said it all—this space was made for magic.
The ceremony took place at Norris Ferry Church, where emotions ran high again as Madelyn’s father officiated the wedding. Watching him speak words of blessing over his daughter and soon-to-be son-in-law was incredibly moving, a perfect blend of sacred tradition and personal love.
After the “I do’s,” we ventured with the wedding party to a nearby park by the reception venue for portraits. The energy was joyful, light, and completely contagious. Every person there radiated love and support for the couple—it was truly a dream team of friends and family.
As night fell, the rooftop came alive with laughter, music, and dancing beneath the stars. A live band had the crowd on their feet all night—but the moment that stole the show? Connor and his brother, Harry, surprising everyone by jumping on stage, singing their hearts out to the bride and crowd…and then crowd surfing to close out the night! It was wild, electric, and unforgettable.
Before the sendoff, Connor and Madelyn shared one last private dance under the lights, just the two of them swaying with the city as their backdrop. It was quiet and romantic—a sweet exhale before the excitement of their getaway.
Then, with cheers echoing behind them and hearts full, they dashed into their getaway car to begin the next chapter of their adventure.
Connor and Madelyn, thank you for letting me be part of this incredible day. Your love, your family, your joy—it was all a gift to witness. Here’s to a lifetime of the same magic that filled your wedding day.
