Have you ever dreamed about something for so long and it seemed like nothing could go tight, but then it turned into something spectacular, something better than you could ever have imagined?! Natalie and Wesley became husband and wife at the gorgeous new Southern Stables Venue in West Monroe, LA.
If you want to know their full story, you will have to ask them. I am sure they will be telling it for years. The short version is they decided to switch venues last minute to a venue that is so new that it wasn’t finished yet. With the three week countdown ticking, the Venue owners worked night and day to make this place not only ready for The Graff’s wedding day, but more beautiful than you could have ever imagined.
Natalie and her bridesmaids started their day at the Guest House on the venue’s property getting pampered by hair and make up. When I arrived, Natalie was finishing up her final touches. I started the day as I always do, photographing the details. We then had the best time toasting with champagne on the gorgeous antique bed! Natalie had a very clear vision for this day, and I loved being able to capture all the perfect little details that she had in place.
Natalie had her mom button her stunning strapless wedding gown, and put her cathedral length veil in place. Her future-mother-in law was there every step, and even gave Natalie a bracelet for her something borrowed. Once Natalie was dressed and ready, She could not wait for her first looks with her bridesmaids and dad, along with a quiet first touch with the groom!
It was finally wedding time! The wedding party had a party bus to take them from the guest house to the Stables, while Natalie rode like a true bride in a princess carriage pulled by a a beautiful white horse. Her grande entrance was truly beautiful. Wesley was emotional, but Natalie’s sister, Gracie, almost had me in tears! Wesley and Natalie finally tied the knot, and we got to celebrate the rest of the night by dancing, photoboothing it up, and eating the yummiest quesadillas and pizzas from the food trucks! The day was nothing short of perfect, and I am so happy that the two get to enjoy their honeymoon in the Bahamas while we all return to work tomorrow! Thank you both for allowing me to capture this special day!
