Collyn & Cameron | May 28 | White Oak Venue, Ruston, LA
There are some wedding days that leave a lasting impression, and Collyn and Cameron’s was one of those magical days I won’t soon forget.
As I pulled into the parking lot at White Oak Venue in Ruston, I was immediately struck by the beauty of the scene in front of me. A large, elegant tent stood tall, setting the tone for the day. Around it, decorative green sunbrellas popped against the natural backdrop, and the florals oh, the florals! were nothing short of breathtaking. The Chapel was surrounded by the tent, a sign in table, mirrors, the brides mother and grandmother’s dresses, a popcorn stand, and drin stations! The attention to detail was apparent before I even stepped inside. Shout out to Tanya with Everything Artsy Events for making this day so dreamy!
Inside the venue, the wow factor only increased. Cozy, stylish couches had been arranged to create intimate seating areas, each one adorned with gorgeous floral arrangements. I honestly could have spent hours capturing just the detail shots, every corner felt like it belonged in a magazine.
The timeline followed a classic wedding day flow: getting ready, a touching first look with Collyn’s dad (who was emotional in the most heartwarming way all day long), and then onto the ceremony and reception. One moment that really stood out was Collyn’s sister-in-law, who served as matron of honor, she was the kind of support every bride dreams of having by her side.
The ceremony was filled with so much love and joy, and the reception was an absolute celebration. Laughter, dancing, and heartfelt conversations made the evening fly by. It was one of those weddings where you could feel how deeply loved the couple was by everyone around them.
To top it all off, Collyn and Cameron’s grand exit was a scene straight from a movie. Their getaway car was a stunning antique Ford Mustang. It waited, just outside, surrounded by cheering friends and family holding sparklers. It was the perfect end to a perfect day.
Collyn and Cameron, thank you for letting me capture such a joyful chapter of your story. Your day was full of beauty, emotion, and celebration and I feel truly honored to have been a part of it.
